Photo Montages
You provide the photos, we create the show! Animorphic Studios can create a custom photo montage for your next big event. Photo montages are similar to slide shows that are artistically edited to music, but are presented on DVD or VHS and include a custom-designed case. These make great gifts and heirlooms. We can also add video segments and sound bites to your montage.
Bring your photo album to life! Use photo montages for weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, funerals, baptisms, retirement parties, anniversaries, graduations, reunions, or other special events. Need some ideas for what else to include? We’re happy to help! Consider adding documents such as wedding invitations and birth certificates. We can scan the item (counts as one image) or scroll the text over a background. Also consider adding special dates or locations as captions, such as a honeymoon location, names, or graduation date.
Our Process
- You provide the photos or video. Digital files are best. An extra fee will be added if scanning is required. Video sources can be on VHS tape, DV tape, DVD, or CD. Photos and video will be artistically arranged to music. Your photos will be enhanced for the montage. This includes basic color correction and fixing washed-out photos. All materials will be returned. You can also purchase your digitized, enhanced images for you to print or email.
- Select your music. You can provide the music or we can suggest some. Sound bites from your family videos can be added over music. Let us know which ones you would like to hear. Most montages last 6–10 minutes and songs can be shortened to fit sections. Also let us know what kind of pacing you would like to see (usually determined by the music as well).
- Pricing typically ranges from $150–$300, based on length and amount of capturing/scanning required. Please allow 2–4 weeks to complete your montage. Inserts for your DVD case can be designed for an extra fee. These work great for timelines or dedications that you want to include with the montage that aren't on the video. Each base price includes one finished DVD or VHS tape, with the option to purchase additional copies.
